Ekaterinburg Art Foundation hosted artworks from eighty one countries to hold an international exhibition of sculpture and photography “In Family Unity – Unity of the World”. Recently there were delivered new exhibits from twenty four countries of the world.

At the end of May the Ekaterinburg Art Foundation held the final meeting of the Artistic Council in order to choose artworks for the international exposition “In Family Unity – Unity of the World” which will be organized at Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) of MFA of Russia (MGIMO).

Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov appreciated the International Exhibition “In Family Unity – Unity of the World” organized by Ekaterinburg Art Foundation and made an order to host the exhibition at Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) of MFA of Russia (MGIMO).

According to the organizational aim of the project, the International Exhibition of Sculpture and Photography  “In Family Unity - Unity of the World” is held in every country in two conceptually different places, one being a leading University and another – an international airport. In Russia Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO-University) was chosen among the universities of the country to house the exhibition. The decision was made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

A meeting of the Art expert council was held on 28 December 2010. The aim of the meeting was to choose art works to amplify the exposition of the international exhibition of Sculpture and Photography “In Family Unity – Unity of the World”.

Preparation of the International Exhibition “In Family Unity – Unity of the World” at Sheremetyevo airport (Moscow) goes on. The organizer of the exhibition – The Ekaterinburg Art Foundation – has been carrying on negotiations with airport administration concerning dates of the exhibition opening. The preliminary date is mid-January 2011.

The organizing committee is still working on the international project “In Family Unity – Unity of the World”. The organizing committee carries on correspondence with new sculptors and photographers every day. Artists from the countries that haven’t participated in the international exhibition before, show their interest and wish to take part in the international project.

The organizing committee of the international project IN FAMILY UNITY – UNITY OF THE WORLD has started preparation for the exhibition that will take place at Sheremetyevo International Airport in mid-November 2010. It is planned that the exhibition will be opened 24 hours for a month.

Most of the participants of the international project “In Family Unity – Unity of the World” have already received the catalogue of artworks presented on the premiere of the exhibition in Khanty-Mansiysk. The organizing committee of the exhibition keeps receiving letters of thanks from the artists that express sincere gratitude to the team of the project who managed to unite sculptors and photographers from different countries.

The date of the official opening of the exhibition “In Family Unity – Unity of the World” has been fixed. The exhibition will be presented in Khanty-Mansiysk on the 21st of September 2010. Artists from different countries support the Ekaterinburg Art Foundation on these busy days.
